Students enrolled in the MyVillage Project are a part of a local community of educators, volunteers and Black nonprofits committed to their success. Once approved, we deliver curated activities for your student that include knowledge scavengar hunts, video game assignments, invites to local youth programs, and more!!

Both! We coordinate with Black nonprofits and grassroots in your local community to arrange programs, projects and activities for your student. The mobile app is used by parents to manage their child's participation and progress. Students also have access to video games to challenge their knowledge and accelerate their learning.
Students are assigned activities related to academics, STEM, financial literacy, Black history, and more. Assignments typically take 30-60mins to complete and include tasks that can be completed in the home, in-person at nonprofit events and online! We also partner with local schools and Black nonprofits organizations to provide programming and reward students for their academic achievements.
Registration is free for students residing in one of our partner communities, and $7/month for students living outside of our partner communities.
Students may join from anywhere, however academic rewards and in-person programming with local Black nonprofits are currently are only offered in our partner cities in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Gainesville and Tampa, FL. Please contact us to learn more about our expansion plans to your city.
We understand that families often face challenges beyond their control. Students are also enrolled thru their schools and after-school programs. Please contact us to see if your child's school is a member.
To provide the most accurate support and instruction, we work with parents to obtain access to school records to better monitor academic outcomes.
